Libido is appetite in it’s natural state. It wants to connect, and be met.

As our hearts and bodies awaken through conscious dance, our sexual energy also begins to stir. We've all experienced it; one moment we feel radiant, free and desirable, the next we feel clumsy, listless and excluded.

Our libido is an essential part of the body's natural expression. Sometimes complicated, sometimes ecstatic, or burdened with expectations and past experiences. All this energy moves within and between us and longs for freedom.

Libido is: 'the unconscious, instinctive, biological force that fuels all creation & creativity' C Jung.

Lust for Life is a residential weekend in which we can ground and explore our life energy through dance and some basic principles of movement. Because sexuality is so often underground, ignored or unconsciously played out, this workshop is an intense, liberating and powerful process. The potential pleasure and beauty of this journey is well worth the challenge and the risks.

Working methods are rooted in the OpenFloor practice: a Conscious dance form in which emotional intelligence, inquiry, SomaticExperience and awareness are an important part. OpenFloor.org

For these days, at least 12 hours of experience with Open Floor or another Conscious dance form is required.

All genders and sexual orientations are welcome. Welcome solo or in duo. Nudity is not part of this workshop.

Willemijn de Dreu will guide the journey. She is an experienced dance teacher, 5Rhythms as well as OpenFloor. She also works as a certified body oriented trauma therapist. She has a deep love for humanity and everything that moves.

★ Dance, movement and body practices, exercises, some theory, sharing;
★ 2 nights (3 days) surrounded by nature in a cozy homestead, in wooden cabins and rooms;
★ Vegetarian, super tasty and light food not only for the body, but also for the soul (2 dinners, 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches). The food will be prepared with all love by the wonderful professional chef and nutrition consultant Jugnė Jūnė Jonušaitė ("Cosmic cook Jugnė")
★ Sauna

• Later/standard: 450 Eur (in rooms with others)

The retreat ends on Sunday (16th) 16:00.

LOCATION:
This retreat will take place in the beautiful "Baraka" homestead, surrounded by pines, birches and maples with a pond and a sauna in the Širvintos district, in the village of Kaimyny, near the Žebokšta lake, near the Musė river.
The distance from the center of Vilnius is 39 km, from the shopping center BIG - 34 km. The homestead has 1.2 ha of forest and 2.3 ha of land, a pond.
